Winter Series: Films & Conversation
Thursday, January 8, 10AM - 12PM
The Hiding Place
This winter, gather with friends old and new for meaningful cinema and rich conversation. On the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 AM to noon, we'll explore carefully selected films that illuminate timeless truths about love, courage, faith, and the human experience.
Each session offers more than just a viewing—it's an opportunity to slow down, reflect together, and share the wisdom that comes from our own lived experience. Through guided discussion, we'll uncover important themes and messages. Whether the themes address family, resilience, beauty, or grace, these films serve as springboards for meaningful conversations that nourish the soul and deepen friendships.
Bring your ideas, your questions, and your unique perspective. During this winter season, perfect for cozy gatherings, let's discover how great stories continue to inspire us at every age.

Welcome to Evergreen 55+, an event series designed exclusively for women aged 55 and older who believe in slowing down for the important things in life. This series is dedicated to bringing pizazz into this new chapter of life through the exploration of new and old friendships, shared hobbies, the joys of grandchildren, the complexities of adult children, and the pursuit of different interests.
At Evergreen 55+, we believe that one is never too old to live out their dreams, whether it's starting a small business, embracing a new hobby, or delving into the pages of a fun book.
The series features occasional speakers covering topics such as nutrition, exercise, travel, book reviews, navigating family life, overcoming losses, and accentuating the positive aspects of aging. We emphasize an interactive environment, where attendees are encouraged to be active participants rather than passive listeners.
